Well. This is take two on a blog I started last year but thought it was too awkward to have the same handle as a complete stranger from Canada (itsannieyang@). So here goes! I’m just a third year college student with a penchant for writing, and am currently attending Princeton University. I’m majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a certificate in Global Health and Health Policy–more specifically, I’m interested in looking at preventable disease, after my experiences with clinical research this summer. I will be working specifically in epidemiology and population genetics for my thesis research.
As for my future, I am determined as determined can be to enter the medical field–I have several personal reasons that I hold near and dear to me and which I tried to explain in one of my more recent posts. They say that you should only go into medicine once you’re absolutely sure there is nothing else you want to do as a career–there is nothing more I would ever want to be in this lifetime than to make someone else’s life just a little bit better.
I am at once everywhere, and yet nowhere. But if you find out my email, I’d be happy to respond to any questions. 😉
